The difference your support makes

Every donation, volunteer hour, and partnership goes directly into making LGBTQ+ sport more welcoming across London and the South East. Here’s what that looks like in practice.

What your support makes possible

When LGBTQ+ inclusive clubs have the right support, the difference is felt by everyone in them.

People find confidence
“We could see everyone grow in confidence from trying a new sport, and even more, trying rowing for the first time.”

Communities come together
“It was really powerful to see so many trans folk in one place playing sport together. We didn’t expect to reach so many people.”

Clubs grow stronger
“Our coaches have grown in numbers and skills. The fund enabled 25 new people to try out football, and improved the experience of playing for the club as a whole.”

New doors open
“A fully-booked workshop with the London LGBT+ Community Centre, led by members from the target communities. We’re now talking about a semi-regular programme of sessions.”

27 years of LGBTQ+ sport

Out For Sport has been part of London’s LGBTQ+ sporting community since 1998. What started as a small network of clubs has grown into something much bigger. A movement that connects thousands of people with sport every year.
