For the third year running, Beat the Street will be coming to East London & Newham from the 20th September until the 8th November. Join in the game to win prizes and see how far you can walk, cycle or run. Set up a team to win big for your community, or simply take part on your own and get out and explore east London. Beat Boxes can be found all over town, including in Victoria Park, The Olympic Park, Wanstead Flats, Memorial Park, Hackney Wick and all over the Hackney Marshes.
To take part all you need to do is pick up a Beat the Street card from a local distribution point (leisure centres, libraries or schools), register your details online and get tapping to collect points. Check out our gmap to find your nearest Beat Box, and you can follow your team’s success on our leaderboards. Out For Sport clubs are invited to set up inter-club walks, runs or cycle rides and we will help promote these to the club network. Lets get social and active at the same time.
